My wife and I booked the 4-NIGHT, 100% PRIVATE AURORA ESCAPE which included four 4 Aurora Nights, dog sledding, snow-machining, wild-life tour any many great things! Our guide was Chad, the owner of Lights-over-Lapland and from the moment we first contacted Lights-over-Lapland we have been extremely well taken care of in terms of our specific requests, expectations, and travel arrangements due to the pandemic. My wife and I travelled quite a lot, but this were one of our best holiday trips ever. Chad took such great and personal care of us, it felt like family. Chad is a very experienced guide. He knows every corner of Abisko and the surroundings and took us to amazing places. The nature and the sceneries of the area were simply breath-taking, and we could not have hoped for a better experience. Out of the four nights we saw amazing aurora displays on two nights which were stunning. The private escape including staying in a lovely and well-equipped and maintained house in Abisko with all the amenities, incl. sauna. We even had our chef who came to the house to cook for us on four of the five nights. The cooking was out of this world and a great local, culinary experience! A big thanks again to Rob for providing such great meals! All in all it was one of our best experiences ever and we are eternally thankful to have experienced it. Thanks again to Chad and his team for providing such an amazing experience and for making this a perfect trip! We are looking forward to meeting you again! Cheers from Switzerland

Hands down the best vacation I have ever been on! All the staff is absolutely incredible! I could not reccomend this enough!!!
Is this a "fake" company? Do they sell "fake" Aurora photo tours? Well, let's begin saying that Lights Over Lapland's offices are not in Abisko Turiststation, so it is quite weird that they appear there in Google Maps. According to one of ther guides "I don't think they have any offices at all; they're just the American owner and 2-3 people working from home, who run the website, etc.". Having said that, let me give you my modest opinion about their "adventures". I think they use a totally misleading advertising in their wilderness Aurora photo tours. In my case, it was a great mistake to book that tour with Lights Over Lapland. Very expensive for what they guarantee. And will not refund you any money in case of bad weather. By the way, they have dozens of positive reviews in Trip Advisor written with the similar laudatory structure, which leads me to think that they're all probably paid/fake reviews.

We did a 4-night Northern Lights Photography tour and day activities including a landscape hike, the ice hotel, and the Sami experience. Our guide Sarah was truly impressive, integrating atmospheric and weather information from multiple sources combined with her own experience and on-the-spot check ins with other other LOL guides to track conditions and predict the best location and time for us to see the aurora. And she succeeded! Her combination of knowledge, expertise, and experience was amazing. She combined all of this with an infectious spirit of adventure and fun to make this an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience. The pre- and post-trip support from the staff at LOL was unbeatable too. They answered all of my questions and concerns and took good care of us while we were there. I can’t say enough good things about the people at LOL. They really made this one of our best vacations.
