Very bad place! Crowdy ! Noisy , highway and railway r near the camping, the toilets r dirty and smells bad ! No intimity, impersonal ! The only good thing is the lake near by !
Good campside near Göteborg... nice view to Lake washrooms, leisure time offers at campside ️ street/train beside campside Conclusion: nice for 1 to max. 3 day staying...
WAY too few showers and toilets to this massively crowded camping site. I give the site 1 star for the lake. Otherwise, it is very crowded with massive caravans and literally thousands of people all sharing 3 toilets, 4 showers and one washing room with 3 sinks. REALLY??! how stupid will it be to return there?! When 1000 people want to shower in the evening.. how fun will the experience be do you think? How clean? The sinks are in front of the toilets and it is gross to brush your teeth. This place needs a serious renovation. Tent place is super crowded. The tent place we received was glued to 3 other tents with less than 20 cm distance! It was difficult to use plugs....and it is like sleeping in a 15 mans tent....just hope nobody will snore in the next tent. See picture. Redicoulus. Did I mention the busy railroad nearby (50 m)? Well we knew it is there from google maps but you dont really appreciate fast speed trains that goes every 10 minutes, before you sleep with your ear to the ground 100 m away... Avoid if you can. You can sleep in the streets in a bench... you will have more privacy and the public toilets cleaner.
Easy place to stay if you plan to visit Goteborg by train. The camping is nice and the lake nearby is nice too but there are many places and it makes it a little too crowded for those who like to have some space at least between campers/tents/caravan. Also for those reasons there are sometimes queues at showers or other facilities. Staff is very helpful.
Going by my sisters experience, she can confirm that it was not the quite of places. You are only 20 meters from the both the railway and the E3 motorway after all. What made it worse was having them work on repairs that time! Even the view of the lake should be great if you could see it. The amenities are low, one shop and one mini golf. It is as close as you are going to get to Goteborg, so about the only star for that.
Fine camping, able to pay in variety of ways, not expensive. The tent spots are small and you have to make an effort to get your pegs into the ground if you don't have a hammer. Nice lake, you're able to swim there and rent a boat.
Unfortunately, partially sloping ground. Restrooms are outdated. Price was okay. Nearby lake is a great addition!
