A very nice hike ! Keep in mind you need certainly around 3 hours to complete the whole tour. And good shoes ! Don't forget your binoculars to spot the birds.

This amazingly beautiful European Life titled nature reserve in Håbo kommun is specifically made with bird-life in mind, and it hosts both your Swedish regular everyday species as well as some rare ones. Therefore birdwatchers from all over Europe travel here to this beautiful reserve. It's a great place to visit for some calm and to get some fresh air, and of course observing the beautiful nature. Doing so is made easy by the help of multiple lookout points that are built all around the reserve. The reserve is easily accessed by either car or bus. Parking is available at multiple points around the reserve, making it easy to get to the lookout point you want. There's about a 5 minute walk from the nearest bus stop (Svannäs) to the main parking lot. From there it's easy to get onto the about 3km footbridge that stretches all throughout the east side of the reserve. The reserve offers mixed terrain, making it ideal for anybody who loves untouched and beautiful nature. One tip is to visit the birdwatcher's cabin that can be accessed from the footbridge. There you'll find interesting information about the reserve and its residents, as well as a good view of the lake. The only downside is the fresh water supply. There are as far as I've been able to observe no fresh water stations around the reserve, so I would recommend if you are coming here on a hot and sunny summers day, that you bring a fair amount of water to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. Welcome!
