A very pretty castle in a lovely location for a picnic. The exhibit on women in power and the lovers was well done but much smaller than I expected especially for the high entrance fee. I appreciated the English guide book or my friend would have had to translate everything for me. It would have been nice to see more of the castle. It was not that busy but the rooms are small so it seems cramped when a larger group comes in. We drove but there is a bus stop right outside the entrance.
The castle itself, nothing special. Five rooms and some history. But the Ester Blenda exhibition, superb. Really worth while.
A privately owned castle. Parts of it have been opened up for the public. Very nice and authentic atmosphere
Not stroller friendly. Just an old castle that is poorly maintained. Interesting, but few displays. Cafe run by the owners gets 5 stars though.
