Booked a table here two months in advance for my dads birthday and when we got there we were given the worst table. It was in the middle of the restaurant where staff was walking by all the time. And the table was wobbly on top of that. Staff was not very accommodating. Decor is dark and dated. It could really use a redesign to match the atmosphere they’re trying to pull off. Food is good but way overpriced. It’s not the fine dining experience they’re selling. But if you’re just looking for steak and fries and don’t care that much about the decor then it’s probably the best place in Kalix.

As we are pure vegetarian, we tried pizza with cheese and it was really good. Ambience is also good.
Chef's burger was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten and I've also tried Flanksteak couple times that's been every time as good as the first time.
Very friendly staff and the restaurant overall is quite cozy. We were blown away by the quality of food and the drinks. They had craft beer from the area as well as really good wine. As a starter we had the local specialty caviar (delicious, but please don’t put more sour cream on the bite than caviar, you can’t taste it anymore!) and entrecôte as the main meal (overall well prepared but the fries were cooked to a completely solid form to the point where you can’t pick them up with a fork...). Will come back to try other stuff, but minor details need to be fixed. Kind of felt like the chef didn’t try his own dishes.
