Me and my girlfriend arrived just after Christmas. I could not imagine a better reception. The guy working there (I'm so sorry I forgot your name) was the most friendly and helpful imaginative. He lended us kicks, told us the best place to camp (yes, we camped in the middle of winter) and even gave us both a ride on his snowmobile. He even offered to go driving on the ice with his car (after work), but unfortunately we did not have time for that in the end. Anyhow, he definitely made half the trip for us, even though I would not count on such wonderful reception in normal cases. But who knows, maybe if you pass by in the middle of winter you will get lucky.

Veel informatie over de regio. Bij het opluchtmuseum met talrijke kleine musea. Een prachtig park.
Het verkeersbureau is gevestigd op Gamplatsen. Op dit schiereiland werd Lycksele gesticht. Nu maakt het deel uit van een openlucht museum. In dit museum is tevens het skogmuseet gevestigd. Dit laat de ontwikkeling zien van de bosbouw. In de hal met de industriële bosbouw is ook het verkeersbureau gevestigd. Er zijn regelmatig activiteiten op het terrein en ook markten en beurzen. Er worden live demonstraties gegeven als brood bakken in een houtgestookte oven. Er zijn lopende projecten en tijdelijke. Zeer aan te raden met kleine kinderen.
