On a good summer's day this place is beautiful. Always somewhere to be peaceful even with crowds. The buffet is magnificent.

I love castles! To bad it was closed When I arrived. But, from The fence it looken just stunning. The whole area was stunning! To bad they are building lots of modern house close to castle. That, to me, ruin The charm of the whole area.

Although you cannot visit the palace, the walk in the gardens and in the surroundings is very enjoyable! You can also visit the barracks where there is a nice restaurant and shops. Great for a day trip from Stockholm

Good spot for a day trip. Large grounds and a maze too, so wear your walking shoes. Bring your own food, there's plenty of grassy lawns to make a picnic of it. Children's play area keeps the little ones occupied. There are eateries and shops for some retail therapy. It's a tourist spot, so its expensive. Steningebadet is just a hop away and is a great spot to round off the day.

A closed, private palace with some very unimaginative baroque gardens. The building itself may be worth a quick look, and there are some good views around, but don't expect ... well anything much, really.

A very nice building and nice grounds but most of it isnt open to the public. The place is nice if you want to just walk around and relax. Theres a very small pontoon down to the water for some access.
