Jaguar i-Pace Car of the year Very impressive experience

The two brands, Jaguar and Land Rover, deserves better than this! I have been a Jaguar and Land Rover owner throughout nearly three decades and have allways been pampered with first class and personal service by my previous local dealer. Currently I own a LR Discovery and not too long ago I bought a (in my eyes) beautiful RR Sport HST Supercharged (320). Maybe not sparkling new, but still a Range Rover. A few weeks after this acquisition I took the trip down to Mölndal to visit my closest dealer and to establish a some kind of relationship. It was Saturday and not very busy. In fact the shop were empty. I introduced myself to one of their salesmen and told him about my resent acquisition and let him know I wanted to be a customer to have my cars served there. He tried to look up the car in their computer, but could not find it. Instead of further searching or asking me, he said: «this car is so old that it most likely is scraped». Not quite sure if he tried to be funny, but he continued commenting about my car which was standing outside his shop window. After some arguing, he found out his database was not updated and confirmed the existance of my vehicle - and subsequently commented in a somewhat condecending mine: «...you cannot expect we have any spare parts in stock to such an old car...» and handed me over to his «spare parts colleague» and walked away without a word... Not to serve another customer, because we were the only individuals there. I was off course interested in setting up an appointment for next service, but also to order various accessories for this car, such new tyres, a dog-cage, roof rack etc. The person behind the computer searched on his computer, maybe for fifteen minutes without saying much, till he concluded that we could rather do this ourselves by visiting their web-page.... before saying «good-bye!» and started doing something else. The salesman sitting strategically at the entrance was busier than ever when we left the premises...
