There are larger castles with a café. With maybe better well everything. But this place is great. Really nice outside seating. And inside. Food, pastries and everything is great. Best part about this place. Not much children. So a great place to have a relaxing time drinking coffee and having something to eat. Guided tours of this castle are available. A pottery shop nearby. I highly recommend this place for a quieter, more relaxing time.

Beautiful place where you feel the Or of a lost time, the castle was built and restored between 1500 something to 1700 something and restored agin about 1950. There is a lovely cafe and as a #vegan you can get great raw balls and a sallad. I was here in autumn but I can tell the gardens will be wonderful to see in spring and summer and early autumn before all leaves are lost to the ground. They also offer a tour that I will take on my next visit. It may be one of the most beautifully preserved 18th hundred castles in Sweden. But we have a nice one in Askersund as well. I took a quick look into a castle shop they have and it was so fun and curious and mad, a place where you'll find the special and unexpected and interesting items to wear or decorate with :) For more visit @simsalabimkim on instagram
