Great natural paradise. Kind staff, quiet environment, in the middle of Lake Åsnen.

Really a great spot to camp! Beautiful located in Swedish forest and lake area. Some groceries are available at the reception. Supermarkets are not nearby. Nice campingpitches. Every pitch has its own fireplace. Lots of space. But ...... when you take the price for the camping into account and you look at the sanatary facilities the rating of 4 stars is really not desereved. These are way below what you would expect. Showers are not warm. Toilets are functional but a lot is old, dusty and poorly repaired. Checking out took us one hour(10-11am) because of a long queue.. It is therefore maybe a good idea to check out real early when the reception opens.

The campground is nice, no doubt about that. It’s great, the seaside is amazing, and the surrounding is amazing. But i judge three stars because of that: Last year we’ve planned a visit there in the summer months. So I connected with the holder and asked if reservation is necessary. He told me - no! No reservation required. And because of the fact that our arrival date could be a bit unclear, I followed his advice and made no reservation. Two month later, we arrived at the campground - and suprise! It was full as hell and no place for us. So we stood there with two little children and without a stay for the night. Yes, I know - it’s my responsibility. But if the holder tells you on explicit question that it is def not required - man. That’s not nice.

The check-in and booking process is a total nightmare. You don't get any information about free places per email or on the website. Hence being encouraged just to drop in. When doing so you find the reception closed during the main time from 12-14:00 lining up lots of people and campers in front. After waiting for 1-2 hours you may find out that you "dropped in" for nothing because there is no space available. Very embarrassing process for a popular place like this and the worst overall we have experienced in four weeks :(

The location seems very nice. The place is just so full that you've got to pick numbers(!) and wait for an hour just to check in. Kind of mass tourism

The only reasons for me to give this campsite 3 stars instead of 1 are that you can have a campfire beside your tent and the remote location without noisy streets around. Beside these facts i cant say something positive about getnö gård. The sanitary instalations are poorly maintained and dirty. The prices are extremly high. The german staff is rude Checkin and checkout takes a long time. The electric boats wich you can rent for fishing have batterys that last for 30 minutes instead of the advertised 4 hours. It seems like the owners are just after your money and dont realy care about your wellbeing.
