A wonderful and quiet place to stay! A lot of space on and around the campsite and a beautiful river with places to swim. The sanitary facilities are simple, but good. (Please don't expect luxurious facilities as on tourism oriented campsites, this is a scoutscamp after all). There are drinking water taps and places to wash your dishes scattered all over the campsite. Also a good stock of (sorted) wood for building purposes. There is also a nice "family camp" area for small groups of friends, (ex-)scouts and families which I can absolutely recommend.

Wounderful place but there are loads of wasp nests in the toilets and showers in summer. Also the lake water isn't particularly clean. Still the staff is really welcoming and helpful and the location and surroundings are pretty. The next supermarkets are a 10-20min drive away. Bus connections aren't the best unfortunately. Mind that there are loads of wildlife reserves in the area so making fire and wild camping when on a canoe tour are difficult.

Die Walküre

Riesiges, tolles Areal, 26 wunderschöne Zeltlagerplätze für Pfadfinder, einige mit direktem Seezugang. Scoutshop. Restaurant bietet auf Vorbestellung verschiedene Essen an (Personengruppen). Die Plätze sind quasi Natur pur, selbst die Sanitäranlagen sind etwas versteckt, sodass sie das Gesamtbild nicht trüben und ein harmonisches Lagerleben möglich ist. Achtung - im Sommer bei Trockenheit herrscht absolutes Feuer und Grillverbot! Wildschweinspuren gesichtet. Ein Bereich ist Familiencamping vorbehalten - Wohnwagen/mobile erlaubt -Hunde erlaubt -Bootfahren (mit Elektromotor) erlaubt Kontaktpersonen sprechen deutsch. Sauberkeit der Sanitäranlagen OK. Seewasser wird für die Klospülung sowie als Abwaschwasser verwendet. Gewöhnungsbedürftig aber äußerst vernünftig für die Umwelt. Der See ist moorig und daher sehr dunkel (keine Bodensicht).

Hadden hier een geweldige scoutingplek labelterein ook kanos gehuurd en dit allemaal voor een mooie prijs aardige mensen en ligt heel mooi aan het water!!

Onvriendelijk personeel. Kleine ongezellige kamer. Werd nog geen goedemorgen gezegd met ontbijt. Moest zelf uitzoeken waar de koffie stond. Bij ontvangst werd je niet naar je kamer gebracht. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
