Unrushed, relaxed dining in an old fashioned setting. The tall full height windows bring energy and make this restaurant a cheerful get together for fika or lunch. Great impressions with the good quality of wine and dessert of citron maräng that was the right level of tartness with creamy sweet maräng & chopped nuts. Appetizers of lobster hat (hummerhattar) & french onion soup were ok starters. Our main dishes of duck confit and beef bourguignon were generous in portions. Both however were too salty and the duck meat could taste better more moist. We also tried the chocolate mousse that looked nice but was much too sweet. As a warp up, we had a take away of semlor which tasted of top marks - giving the right balance of soft bread, light fresh cream, good quality almond paste and just a hint of cardemon. Would recommend this place for good fika/dessert, wine, friendly hosts and charming setting.
