From the moment I walked in the door, I loved it! The food is amazing, rich and spicy and the owner and staff are very friendly. The menus are in both Swedish and English and the staff is on hand if help is needed, really so good. Downsides to the restaurant is that it's a bit small and ventilation could be better, plus there's only one shared toilet. Prices are a little bit higher than other Indian restaurants too but I think it's worth it. All in all though, it's pretty amazing considering the location.

Best Indian food in town!

Nice and friendly staff. However, the rice was unusually non authentic, resembling more of an uncle Ben's rice rather than the rice you are traditionally served with Indian food. The size of the portions during lunch was very limited with four square pieces of chicken per dish. The taste was ok, but I can say for sure that this is not a restaurant I will return to or recommend for lunch.

I’ve been to India 3 times and always loved the local cuisine. Needless to say I’m always on the hunt for the best local spot. When I moved to Stockholm I tried a few places around town but nothing really matched my expectations...until I found Masala Masala. Hands down the best Indian food I have ever had. The samosas w/ the tamarin sauce are amazing and my favorite dish is the Mixed Thali. Also if you like Kingfisher beer, you can get big bottles here :)

I walked in with no special expectations. Place looks nice but the proof lies in the gulaab jamun so to speak. Right off the bat waiter gets hostile when asked about vegetarian dishes, I let this pass as he clearly misunderstood the question, but this wasn't the start I was hoping for. Hopes were further dashed as the food came in: absolutely tasteless and the rice that came with it, a disgrace in both quality and preparation. Put nicely, I won't *ever* set foot here again. Anyone looking for a proper Indian should go to Karims or the other place nearby, passing Zinkensdamm up the street. Zero stars. Shameful
