The store is well organized, the used item stock is a bit limited and prices are a bit on the high side compared with other pleces. Biggest problem was that we feel quite unwelcomed by the personal.

Not very help staff while I was trying to select a helmet. And for your information they are not selling ski clothes.

Skilled staff. Used and new. Beginner and high end. All in one place

Everything you need for your downhill adventures. There is a big difference in treatment depending on whom you get as your customer assistant. There are some that are close to impolite to customers.

Prices for used equipment are ridiculously high. The quality of the service is also the lowest I could imagine. Last year (Februari 2017) I sold for 250 kr a pair of old kids ski and bought for 650 kr a new/old pair. The staff of the shop adjusted the bindings of the new/old pair to my kids boots (which I took to the shop). But what happened when in Selen, ca. 30 minutes before the ski school was starting? My daughter tried and tried again to put on her ski, but the boots resulted unsuitable for the binding adjusted by Skidbytrboden. So, what to do? We rushed into the local renting (where 50 other people was waiting for service), and finally rented a new pair of ski for the entire week (600 kr). The guy at the Selen renting shop to whom I showed the ski I bought at Skidbytarboden told me that the binding were at their maximum extension and that they could never been adjusted to my daughter's ski. Conclusion: Skidbytarboden cheated me, made me spend additional money, I'll never use the ski I bought there.
