The Ghanaian-Swedish Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2011 with the mission to promote the development of commerce between Ghana and Sweden; protect industrial relations between them; further the mutual interest of its members; and foster friendly relations between nationals of the two countries. The chamber is a trusted non-profit business , networking organization working for sustainable development and voice of business success in Ghana and Sweden. Trade between Ghana and Sweden dates back to 1653 when the Swedish Africa Company, built the first trading post in Cape Coast, Ghana. In recent years, Ghana remains Sweden’s third largest trade partner in sub-saharan Africa. However, trade between the two countries is ‘still far too low’ and there are great untapped potentials involving many business areas of interest that needs to be explored. Our Vision The Ghanaian-Swedish Chamber of commerce aims to be the most influential business network, advocate and resource for growing commerce between Ghana and Sweden. Our Mission To provide opportunities to enhance our members best business interest through networking, advocacy and business resources. To partner with our members, promote business alliances and to be a leader for economic development efforts in Ghana and Sweden.
