Very nice place, amenities are up to par! There is even a playground for kids/toddlers. Signs at the road can be somewhat discouraging, but disregard that!

Been to this great site with my trailer from end of Dec. to the first days of January 2019. Came here without pre-reservation and the campground was sunk in snow of the last days' snowfall. Immediately the owner cleared the campground that we can park the trailer without any trouble. Everything's there (electricity, shower, bathroom, washing machine as well as dryer, a BBQ hut, lots of things to do and see - incl. snow mobiles, snow shoes, bikes for summer - gear for almost all activities!) but the warm and friendly welcome-atmosphere make this place THE PLACE to be. You may also rent cottages all year round, if you don't travel by camping trailer or mobile home. Great choice and all are very well maintained. We met other nice guys out there, went for a x-country ski tour, took the snow shoes for a hike and enjoyed the wilderness. Thanks for this great experience and your kindness at your site! We'll come back :-) That's for sure.
Very remote site in the midst of a calm forest with campground ( 6 pitches) and 4 lodges. There is plenty of caribou around. The German host family is very kind and even offers fresh homemade bread rolls each morning. The washrooms (1 shower and 1 toilet) are very clean and there is a washing machine and a dryer, too.
Lovely place, well off the beaten track so you have to want to come here. But you should. Run by German family who obviously love the area and will show you hikes to do, summer or winter. Good value camping with only a few pitches so it's worth ringing to check but they have a never say no policy if you show up given the remoteness. Make sure you shop before you leave the main road 45 mins away as there's nothing in the area, although they sell reindeer meat products and bake rolls. Convivial fire hut for chats and cooking at the end of the day. It was cold in the evening, even in August.
The perfect place to calm down and enjoy the life far away from everyday life with its information overload. Start the morning with fresh buns, made by Miriam and Christoph, the hosts of Galå Fjällgård, and continue the day in the untouched nature around Galå Fjällgård. In the evening you can enjoy some time together with other campers/ tourists and Miriam and Christoph in the cosy grill hut.
We absolutely loved staying here. It took us a while to get here as the road was quite bumpy and full of pot holes, but all that was worth it. We saw many deer on the way here, which was fantastic to be able to see them roaming around. The house was beautifully crafted and every little detail was thoroughly thought through. From what I remember the German family that runs this place, made all the rental houses themselves. The owners were super friendly and helped us settle in. The place is dog friendly. We had a great and hope to come back again, maybe in the winter this time.
Haben im alten Flößerblockhaus am See eine traumhafte Woche verbracht. Sind mit dem Kanu über den See gefahren und haben Nachts einen wunderbaren Sternenhimmel bestaunt. Die Rentiere kommen bis fast zur Hütte! Die Vermieter von der Galå Fjällgård sind ungemein hilfsbereit. Danke das wir bereits einen Tag eher in die Hütte durften. Wir kommen wieder!
Es war wie immer wieder ein herrlicher Kurzurlaub zum entspannen und wohlfuehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
