Amazing pizzas! The sourdough really shines here, and combined with some carefully selected types of topping - it can't really go wrong! I ordered a snack-size Margherita and a snack-size Gästpizza (currently one with ham, balsamico and some other stuff). I loved the fact that I could order two smaller ones instead of having to settle for just one. The garlic bread was nice too, but the pizza is top-notch!

We have been traveling through Sweden for months but the Root was by far the BEST! We first had four different snack pizzas which were extraordinary and extremely delicious. Then we came back two days later to try the brunch which was arguably even better! We even got some hiking recommendations and had a nice conversation with the very friendly owner of the restaurant. We would come back to this restaurant anytime.
A cosy and warm place by the lake offering tasty pizzas, coffee and sweets! The place offers a homey shelter you need after skating on the lake. We liked the pizza and the warm hospitality of the staff.
Excellent food and coffee. Super-friendly staff (perhaps a bit over the top for the average grumpy swede). 30 min drive well worth taking.
Amazing place!! The sourdough vegan pizzas are incredible. They make pickles and ferments in house, as well as the dough. Everything was delicious. We also had locally produced super tasty juices. And a lovely cake! Vegan paradise! I'll be back for sure.

Really good pizza, nice staff and a beautiful place with a view. Both vegan and vegetarian alternatives avaliable on the menu. I highly recommend this place!
