A family tradition of professional wine trading dates back to 1957 when the late Juan Jaliff Sr. started in Mendoza, Argentina, one of the eight so-called wine capitals of the world. Following the tradition, VINORD was founded by Juan Jaliff Jr. in Sweden, 2005. We have been purveyors to Systembolaget (Swedish liquor control board) and to restaurants and on-trade customers. Our producers are family-owned or cooperative vineyards and wineries in South America (Argentina, Chile, etc.) and Europe (France, Spain, etc.). We are proud EU partner of Proyecto de Luz, a pioneering social enterprise based in Mendoza. We ceased own import operations in 2019 but provide advisory services on request.
