Went there for a day full of activities, brunch, paddling, hiking in the forest and mountain. The location is absolutely serene and breathtaking. Right in the middle of nowhere, where most of us expect to feel lost, you feel fully present. Can't recommend this place anymore. Must visit.

We rented a canoe pretty spontaneously. After a quick call, we waited about 15 Minutes, until somebody arrived and showed us our canoe of the day and the equipment. He gave us really interesting and helpful informations about the area, the history of the area and about possible routes. We took the way down from the lake Visnaren to The Marviken Lakes until Klämmingen. The nature there is really beautiful and calm. The trip is varying and a bit adventurous with some short lifts from one lake to another. If the wind blows north or south, the trip could be a bit tiring for the arms. It is possible to book transportation for one way. Our trip to Klämmingen was sportive, but just right for us, thanks for the good advice in the beginning. We'll come back gladly. Thanks a lot!

We booked canoes for a trip to Laxne. We got an introduction and some geological and historical background informations in English. Then we were free to roam on the lake system. We really enjoyed the trip, pickup also worked fine.

Well run family business offering canoes and kayaks for hire. We contacted them with details of our timeframe and wishes and they were then able to suggest a route with potential camping spots. We were worried about the amount of packing we'd bought for 2 adults and 1 child but the triple canoe held our gear with room to spare. We opted for a route that included carrying the canoe between several lakes and would definitely recommend hiring a moving wheel as it made the process much easier as we didn't have to carry our gear separately. You can opt for a one way trip where they pick up the canoes at the other end. If you're not using public transport then you can pay extra to be driven back to your car. We'll definitely come back at some point.

Not very nice staff. They also let their dog drink mud water from some tyre tracks. I told them but they didn't care. The dog was still drinking mud the next day. The canoeing anf scenery is great. Would be 4/5 if not for staff. The canoes were somewhat worn and the seats were very hard and uncomfortable. Sometimes you aldo have to carry the canoe over land to continue moving forward. Honestly i recommend either bringing own canoe or just hiking through the forest instead.
