This is a perfect spot to go to for a little picnic in the grass. At the same time you can look at an authentic viking house built in the exact way the vikings did it and with the same tools. Around the viking house there are some nice trails in the forest with some beautiful views and information signs. Once in a while they also arrange viking markets there.

Very nice small vikingvillage. Super vikingmarket in beginn of may. The “byalaget“ which orgsnizes all are very nice and competent people

In it's former glory I imagine this place to have been fantastic particularly speaking to those who have been when it was open. Unfortunately now it is shut down and all that remains is a few pieces that once was. Definitely still worth having a quick gander round to get a glimpse into how the vikings lived.

Great experience. Awesome fair of traditional hand made Viking crafts. Only one weekend a year that the fair runs so check their website for dates

Came for the Christmas Market while over from the UK, rather underwhelming sadly. The staff were all very nice though

Viking village with a nearby museum and shop. During the beginning of may there's a big viking market with over 300 reenactors, craftsmen, blacksmiths and enthusiasts making the whole place come alive and giving you a glimpse into the scandinavian 8th, 9th and 10th centuries!
