I'd walked past this place a couple of times without realising it was there. Its entrance is almost hidden and does not do justice to the size of the museum that lies behind it! The museum is a beautifully thought out journey through the history of toys. Whilst it obviously has a Scandinavian feel, many of the toys have a worldwide appeal. The imaginative displays lead you through exhibits from toys to comic books and finally a restaurant and shop. A great place to spend an hour, really liked it and was a total surprise too. Definitely will return.

It's a great place if you are found of old school toys or comic books. The staff is really friendly and knows a lot about the subject. And the end of trip there is also a small bar / cafetaria where you can have quick drink or snack.

It’s a cool little toy museum based upon the history of Stockholm and the king I believe. It takes about 10 to 20 minutes to see everything other than that I don’t know if it’s worth going to this part of the island

I've never seen such a huge collection of toys! Especially set up in the strangest of ways. The most entertaining experience I didn't even expect from a museum. I enjoyed the whole way even though I was confused and perplexed by many exhibits. Definitely a place to check out and not expensive at all!

If you're a toy enthusiast then this is the place for you. The back story to this museum and how it got its logo is a fancinating read when you start your walk about but its only in one language, so be sure to ask for a staff member to tell you the story. They do have screens in many languages explaining what's on show but some weren't working. All in all we had a great time there and would recommend going.

We were happy to stumble across this toy/comic museum! Lovely collection of toys, and some stunning comics/illustrations. My son loved the cars by the entrance that he could sit in! Quite a few creepy dolls - they scared my 2yo! 15 ish per adult so relatively expensive but happy it was free for my little one.

Quite a big place with interactive media for the kids and a lot of different toys, albeit not so much of what 80's and 90's kids would have grown up with. Nice location and a fairly short walk from the nearest subway station. Other activities in the area and a pretty scenery makes this museum suitable for both old and young.
