A very good and cosy hotel and restaurant. Good and clean rooms. Very good menu card and we'll prepared food. Very friendly staff. A good place to stay at. Look in the restaurant and you will be amazed by the possibilities in whisky and beer. Also the rooms have nice names.

Amazing atmosphere. Without reading anything about them - I had an immediate feeling of being back in the UK. Scotland to be precise. Extraordinary staff, top tier food, top tier drinks, amazing chefs. Starter, warm and dessert were in a different league. Wanna spoil someone? Visit this place.
One of the best meals I've ever had in Sweden. Rooms are simple but adequate, biggest feedback would be to have some better airflow for the summer as it can feel quite stifling without AC. The staff were incredibly helpful during our stay however, really pleasant team that took care of us! The food was honestly sublime. We had dinner on the night we arrived and decided to stay at least until lunch the next day so that we could squeeze another meal out of this place. I had the platter steak which was delicious, every part of the dish was incredibly tasty and was wonderfully filling. My partner had the salmon platter, which was good but not quite as flavoursome as the steak. Their house beer is also one of the best I've ever tasted, hats off to the brewer! Our breakfast the next morning was honestly so indulgent, what a generous spread! A really good selection on offer and the kitchen even prepared some scrambled eggs and bacon which was cooked to perfection. Impossible to fault. Our lunch was not quite at the same calibre as dinner or breakfast, but was incredibly good value for money with a decedent salad bar. You could see why all the locals came here for lunch!

Incredibly fine restaurant! Huge range of home-made beers. Whiskey is also part of the offer, many different sorts! I can only recommend if you are in the area but think of booking in advance...
My husband just stayed there and happened to charge the stay to the wrong credit card. When he asked to use another credit card instead, he was informed that it was against the hotel's policy to make a refund when payment has been made even if he just asked to use another card. Wow, talk about customer service... There was also no A/C in the room and very warm inside.
