Found rexius records through "droptrack" thought I'd "send a demo", they charged me 44. 15 to get back to me "within 7 days" and 29 for "career advice". First off let me say i did not get "accepted" (not a big deal, in this industry you tend to waste money every once in a while) and that is completely fine with me. I am not offended, it happens. But honestly I found their "career advice" to be pretty dull. Every artist knows social media is pretty important now a days, however i received advice stating my twitter is "more about my life and not my music" so i need to be more "consistent" however there is One problem with that, I don't have a twitter. So I really don't know what they are talking about. The company stated to receive "thousands of demos each year" and "20-50 a day" and said it would take at least 160days to get back to me if i did not pay any of those fees and just submitted it for free, so they "recommend" you order it within 3, 7, or 30days. So i paid for the 7day option, (just thought I'd give it a try) and they actually got back to me within 3hours of submitting my demo. (Not bad) Now if a company has "thousands" to go through, or even "20-50 a day" like they claimed, wouldn't it have taken at LEAST a day to get back to me? Idk just seems like a get rich quick scheme to me. 44 at a time. Lol
