A beautiful cafe in a fantastic location! Lake Mälaren is just some hundred meters from the cafe. The cafe offers high quality food, cakes and other delicious dessert. Staff is very helpful. Parking around the corner. Nearby you have the main castle building with a gift shop and a few minutes away you will find the ceramic shop. Definitely worth a visit!

Very cute cafe with great cakes and delicious coffee. Nice atmosphere inside with beautiful old and painted ceiling. Can fully recommend!)

Coffee latte was good and the pastries were also tasty and nice with average price. Also eating outside in the gardens was enjoyable and calm. However, the service was so bad that cannot give more than one point. The selection for pastries was not that large but still they could not tell what they are. The utensils were so dirty and sticky they were unusable. On top of it all, they put two pastries for two people on a same tiny sticky plate making it difficult to eat! What a waste managing such a nice place this badly.

Very pretty and cozy place with absolutely outstanding (!) pastries (I've heard much praise for their sandwiches too but haven't tried them myself). Great place to go by for a cup of tea. Placed just in the middle of 20km long bike route Bornsjön runt, perfect for a rest!

1. Quite a number of varieties, given it is a slottscafe. Personally, I liked their collection of (sweet) pies and cakes. 2. Ample seating in the front and the backyard, indoor seats are available in case the weather doesn't support. 3. Friendly and hospitable staff. Dampeners: 1. Taste can be better, especially, rimmade lax and Spenat- & fårostpaj. 2. They seem to get overwhelmed in the peak season - just a few staff members handling around hundred customers caused a wait of more than 45 minutes. 3. It would be great if they can arrange for more toilets - customers were lined up, average wait time was 15 minutes.
