Image & Form is a game developer based in rainy, windy Gothenburg, Sweden. We develop games for a number of platforms, and have self-published games for iPhone/iPad, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo Switch, PC/Mac/Linux, PlayStation 4, Vita and Xbox. We develop and publish the universally acclaimed SteamWorld series of games, where humanity has blown itself to bits and friendly, steam-powered robots are the new cream of the crop. The franchise started with SteamWorld Tower Defense in 2010, and in 2013 we released the sleeper hit SteamWorld Dig for a multitude of platforms. SteamWorld Heist came in the fall of 2015, and 2017 saw the release of SteamWorld Dig 2. All three of the latest games have been nominated for and won numerous awards. Since October 2011, Image & Form is no longer wholly owned by Brjann Sigurgeirsson, but co-owned by Bergsala, a wonderful corporate family of game developers, publishers and distributors.
