Surprisingly interesting and well-thought-of museum. We followed the advice of the staff and started with the short film about the expedition, which was very insightful and emotional. It really sets the tone for the rest of the exhibition, which, on its own, also has a lot of relevant pieces to check out. Worth it.

Very interesting museum esp. the Andre' polar expedition that tragicly ended with the desk of three men. They were found after decades and much of the outfit is in the museum.
Very interesting. Very informative. Lots of the original instruments and documents and equipment to tell the fantastic story.
Very nice and helpful staff!
Nice museum. I would have appreciated an annotated map with positions and date/times.
The museum was great, the people helpful and friendly. Or bigger kids, 6&8yrs old had a great time marveling at the equipment and thinking about the tragic story of these heroes. There is a movie, giving the story, some original equipment and some nice tech and computer elements, good experience. We spent at least 2 hours there I think. The shop is also very nice.
Great historic experience if you are interrested in the old explorers.
Absolutely brilliant! It is a relatively small museum but has so much information packed in. Displays are in Swedish and English, and the introductory film and some others that are shown have English subtitles. Staff are very helpful, and will restart the film when you arrive (if no one else is watching). They have a lot of genuine artifacts from the expedition and information behind it all. Everything is displayed well and flows somewhat chronologically. It also includes interactive displays with information on expeditions to both poles. An essential visit for anyone in Gränna!
