Best lunch I've had in an extended period of time! The nature of the fixings and the consideration of the food were both amazing. The ginger shot you get as a supplement was a decent touch! Alter: Having been there different occasions now the food has been a wow experience every single one. Individuals in the kitchen are taking awesome consideration with the clearly great quality fixings. A ton of characteristic flavors without the occasionally shaky need of less experienced cooks to overseason or overcook. Literally the best 1st day here. Food was amazing..even the bread basket was delicious. Lady who served us was very sweet and polite. Very rustic and homely inside. Outside seating area.
Nice lunch menus, including small salad, bread and coffee. Ordinary nice staff.
Favourite go to Swedish cuisine lunch place in Gothenburg. A bit of a hidden gem in the city. Very little tourists and filled with locals. You get a non alcoholic “schnapps” before you eat and the homemade bread and butter they serve before your food arrives, it’s insane. I don’t know what’s in their butter but it’s super addictive like crack. /jk I would definitely recommend for lunch. Plus my boyfriend said that dinner there is as good as lunch, albeit slightly higher prices of course.
We sat on the front patio with a nice view of the tourist transversing the small square. The Trollhattan Chicken Cesar Salad as well as the Cod with potatoes were excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. The sign at the entrance directing us to wait to be seated was definitely a ‘lost in translation’ experience that put a smile on our faces.
Great seafood and superb service! Highly recommended.
