Rya Forest is located where you don’t expect it! It’s a patch of old forest in the middle of the industrial zone. You hear the noise and smell the Petrol. Still the magic of the old forest absorb you!

An oasis of beautiful trees surrounded by the boredom of harbour industry. Worth the tip for a walk, especially for families: You can’t get lost because you are kept in by a fence but it is big enough for some ‘forest bathing’. I wish it was bigger but I’m so happy they preserved this special place!
Hidden treasure near Eriksberg. Small, but very worth a visit.

Fantastic area with old forest!
I go at 6pm....and its me alone! Nobody else in the area. Even worst, the surrounding sound is filled by industrial sound from nearby factory. It is a reserved forest surround by industrial building after all.
