Let's be totally honest and say that finding authentic Chinese food in Sweden is a Herculean task. Many restaurants tend to go on the "fusion" route to appease the Swedes and their delicate spice tolerances. Me, I have no interest in a place with a Thai buffet with sushi and tacos. If I want Chinese food, I either crave dimsum or proper Sichuan dishes. Though I do not come here for dimsum, it certainly satisfies the latter. I originally came here for large hot pot date night with friends for a copious amount of delicious hot pot items, but as the pandemic hit I naturally gravitated to experimenting with the other dishes that I never got a chance to dabble in due to being extremely full of hot pot. Their Sichuan a la carte dishes are AMAZING - oily, spicy, so flavorful and well priced- doused all over the rice that comes with the meal, you will never leave unsatisfied! I was frankly shocked and disgruntled discovering this place did not have \u003e4 stars based on the food alone. Of course I never have and never will try the sushi roll band here, or the "chinese" buffet as I prefer mouth numbing experiences. Some here complained of the ambience is not 'cosy' enough but I argue what's more important? Being so captivated by the food that you don't have a minute to actually lift your head up or taking self-involved insta pics? Then go to Dubble Dubble to spend a lot of money for sub-paar, scarce, "asian" dishes. Those who want a good meal in a restaurant that will always have open tables and decent prices that's central to the city center? Come here and look at how amazing that fish and eggplant look in that photo. I think the staff are also lovely here. If you like flavor you might find yourself getting to know them a bit better when you end up coming here frequently.

I Love the way they served the food in unique plates during CNY. And their service is awesome love the hospitality and that keep distance from each other inside the restaurant. Never tried the sushi band roll, but it looks cute and have desserts and other sweet than only sushi which is appreciated! Have a good one x
No variety. Only 5 types of sushi max. The deserts were either days old or made with sour milk. The taste was unmistakable.
Was craving Asian food and saw this on Google explore. Ended up going here twice. On day 2 we found out they have lunch buffet for just 99 KR. It included delicious Sushi and Ince cream too! Great for a budget Traveler. Their meals are priced at 130 plus KR but except Friday and sat it's half price!!!
Genuine Chinese food and delicious
The Chinese food here is authentic with a wide range of dishes. I have been here lots of times when I miss the taste of home. The portion is big enough with 2 dishes for 2 people, and I always need to take away the leftovers. However, the environment is just gloomy without enough lights.
Craving for some proper Chinese place this might be a good place to check out when in Gothenburg. The place fools you a little when you come in as the name is called something with Sushi. I have heard but not tried yet this is probably not the best place to actually have sushi (which they normally have rolling on the machine just on weekends). But their Chinese menu and hotpot is something that is worth trying. The place is owned by Shanghainese so some of the dishes from that region is made in the Shanghainese sweet style (so if you don’t like to sweet maybe don’t order them) but the Sichuan dishes have some good stones flavors which I would recommend to try. The owners are extremely sweet and provide good service and is a good place for bring kids as well. Not the most cozy restaurant but definitely a good to restaurant for authentic Chinese food.
Sushi is of good quality and the pieces are a generous size. I started going to this place regurally when another more fancy sushi place nearby totally dropped the ball. Soup could be fresher and have leek and more seaweed to add. Unsure if the shrimp is certified so I always skip it. Swedish skills can be a bit lacking depending on who is taking care of the counter. Their website is not up to date! Overall this is my main place for sushi when in town. They are owned by Chinese people so they also have some excellent Chinese dishes.
