The first brewery I’ve found in Scandinavia that reminds me of my beloved Northern California breweries back home! Vega is in an unfussy warehouse style building in an industrial area a short Uber outside of Göte central. It’s got picnic tables, affordable (for Sweden) beer selection on tap, tasting flights (190kr for 4 x 20L beers of your choice), outdoor seating looking out on the water, friendly staff, and a stack of board games to borrow — what else could you want?

Nice atmosphere and room for lots of people, which might not be needed seeing as secluded the place is. Food was ok, though pricey, and selection was limited. There's great potential, and I look forward to revisit.

One friggin excellent pulled pork sandwich! Friendly service and rustic seating both inside and outside, almost on the dock. Also a nice offering of their own beers, both low and high alcohol and some sodas. Worth a visit!
