It was my first time experiencing Ethiopian food and I image this is what a great home cooked meal tastes like over there. The host is a great fellow that makes you feel like a guest in his own home.

I warmly recommend you to go to Wondo! If you go there, you will experience a full immersion in the Ethiopian culture. Consider your visit as a travel for your taste buds and mind! The food is made with delicious fresh products and local spices from Ethiopia. The high-quality Ethiopian coffee is served in a traditional way and would even make coffee experts rediscovering coffee! Of course, I can’t post this message without mentioning the incredible staff working there! We have been very well welcomed. Warm people with an interest in sharing their culture and inspiring stories.

If I could give 10 stars to this I would! The food and the hospitality at its absolutely best! We went to the restaurant at closing time and yet the owner made sure to welcome us warmly and helped with a take away. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and was guilty for not being able to serve us in the restaurant! - he totally didn't have to since it was our fault to go to restaurant late. He also ended up giving us discounts since he couldn't seat us in the restaurant. I would totally visit this place again every time I crave for Ethiopian food Also plus points for packaging- it was so neat and segregated and the quantity was perfect (if you ever had a take away from Ethiopian restaurants you would know that they usually put everything in the same box and give)

Fantastic Environment, Service and FOOD. We were pleasantly surprised and are still thinking about the yummy dishes we tried here. The owner’s kind and open welcome made it even better. Can highly recommend if you want to eat some great Ethiopian food in a cozy restaurant.

Great place for classic Ethiopian food such as injera. The waiter was super friendly and quick. It is quite small but very nicely decorated and affordable prices. Huge servings.

Very good service and friendly staff. The wait was maybe a bit long but it was completely worth it. Very good food and generous portions!
