Handels Case Club (HCC) serves in the interest of students by organizing case events with the main purpose of preparing for future employment interviews. Another purpose is for students to get the chance to meet and network with future employers during events that HCC will hold. HCC is open to all students at Handels, but has a target group of students with at least two years of academic background within business studies. HCC is a part of HHGS at the University of Gothenburg, School of Business, Economics and Law. What is a case? Guestimates: “Estimate the smart phone market in China.” Brainteasers: “You have two fuses who both burn at varying speed, although both burn out in an hour. How do you time exactly 15 minutes?” Business cases: “Our client is thinking about entering the Canadian market with their new product. What should they think about?” How do I join HCC?
