It was us and 4 Danish gentlemen there. They asked if they could smoke inside. The owner was incredibly happy all the time. Very genuine, highly recommended!

If you are looking for a quick sandwich based lunch, this is the place. Two large sandwiches and a lättöl (not so strong beer) for 99skr is a catch. The Danish lady that run the place is nice and friendly. I say, if you're in the neighborhood, looking for a quick bite, don't want to spend to much money, but still want good food... This is the place.
Nice and small place, a bit hidden but with delicious food!
I ate here a few times during my stay in Gothenburg. You enter and you select the prepared sandwich from the case. I like this because you see what you’re getting - helpful if you’re unsure what to order. The owner is lovely, upbeat, and speaks English very well. Anyway, you seat yourself and the owner will bring out your selection. The sandwiches (tartines) are very fresh and vary a bit from day to day. Examples are Smoked Salmon, or Fried Fish, or Tiny Shrimp on Sliced Egg, or Roast Beef. You pay when you’re ready to leave. Highly recommended!

Very (but very, very) good place. Helene (very nice owner) suggested me a smørrebrød with meat and vegetables. It was perfect, very good, well done and tasty. Real danish cusine with no doubt. I'll go there again if I will back to Goteborg
