I am doing course D at Hermods by the time of writing this review, I recommend any future students who want to learn swedish to avoid this school. The way of teaching is really messed-up and not organised. I am in the process of changing school and I hope you all to not get into the same mistake

Our teacher was not good.

I begged the SFI center that I will be in Hermods since they are suppose to be for teachers. I really regretted it. There are just 3 good teachers. The rest are terrible. As a teacher myself, I know what's bad teaching. And this is it. One of the upper personnel is very rude and strict and even condescending. It doesn't mean we don't speak Swedish we are stupid. If not because my sambo complained about the lack of arbetsliv for weeks, we would have never had any replacement classes. And they said it was because of lack of teacher. Well they could have informed everybody that they will have replacement classes but at the moment they are looking for teacher to sub with someone who is on sick leave. The replacement class was organized like in a neck of time. It was informed to us end of the week and should start next Monday. And I really want this class but I cannot even attend it since I am flying to another country. Their decisions are really like that. When they change us to another class, there is a very short notice period that it is difficult to plan. If you can persuade your SFi officer, avoid going to this school.
I did the SFI course here and I have never had any education as bad as the one I received here. The course was really disorganised and the teachers sometimes are clueless about what they are supposed to teach.
Honestly, I have been to many schools in the world since I'm an English teacher and I had the worst experience ever at Hermods school. The school is not organized at all and it's very messy. They change teachers from now to then and that's very confusing and uncomfortable, they change the timetable as well. The teachers are not eligible to teach Swedish( Being a native speaker of Swedish doesn't make you a good teacher for the Swedish language). One of the mangers working there is very strict and unkind, commanding like your are in a military training course. 3 teachers at the school only are good enough to teach Swedish but the rest are not. I would not recommend this school to any future students willing to study Swedish.
