Have hired equipment here several times, skis for my wife and snowboard for me. Excellent service and great quality equipment. Nice sharp edges and everything newly waxed and prepared so both skis and snowboard had excellent glide.

We used Hyrskidan to get a private coach for 2 days in Åre and we could not be more satisfied with this choice. Daniel, our private coach, is a lovely guy and a great teacher!! We did not know any skiing when starting the lessons with him and in two days we were feeling quite comfortable skiing on the slopes ourselves. We also hired equipment and Daniel helped us to get the right gear and make sure we sre comfortable and safe!! Totally recommend it if you want to get some lessons or you just want to rent equipment for your ski time in Åre.

Very professional ski rental facility. Accommodates for all your needs, beginner or Pro. They listen to your needs and give you full attention. Even things get difficult they are very good and understanding. Prices are fair.
Professional crew and great service.
Very friendly,helpful and competent staff. They really know all lot about skying and they sell very good quality products. Also the ski rentals prices are moderate. I really like their "try and buy" option: you rent new skis for a day, and if you like then you can buy them and they deduct the rental prices.

Min mamma köpte ett par turpjäxor på en annan butik som visade sig vara för stora. Då jag hjälpte henne att lägga ut dem till försäljning på Facebook blev jag kontaktad av Åre Sportshop som erbjöd sig att ta emot pjäxorna och byta till annan storlek, trots att de inte var köpta där. Mamma åkte dit och fick ett fantastiskt bemötande, helt enastående. Hon åkte därifrån med ett par pjäxor som passar hennes fötter och med en mycket bra känsla efter att att ha fått det här fantastiska bemötandet av personalen. Tusen tack.
