One of the best museums I have ever been inside. Even if it is a small museum it is very fascinating. It is great especially for children, not every day you're able to se the Harry Potter owl along with 350 different birds. The curator is a wonderful young man, very enthusiastic about the work he's doing, he took us on a very good tour and gave lots of information. If you are in the area it would be a bad idea not to spare a half hour to see it.

An impressive collection in a kind of surprise museum in the town park. Worth a visit!

Good to visit when, You closer by to play in stadsparken with kids or have any game played nearby. Not something to be specially travelled for unless your mission is to see all birds museums. In the museum, you see nice statues which look so very real, and you can see 100s of them in 15 minutes time. Don't miss when you closer by. Also nice staff there.

Strange museum. Nice selection of birds though We were the only visitors. The staff at the desk was very bored and annoying.

A fine place to visit in a quite hour or half. The museum is small but free. Two rooms are filled with vast collections of European birds and their eggs. The birds are all stuffed, but very well preserved. There is not much in the way of explanation beyond the names. Multilanguage sheets are provided. Service is very friendly and helpful. Also, the small museum is situated in a beautiful large public park with a fine playground for kids nearby, there are parking spaces. The view over the lake is tremendous.

While a bit creepy, this museum full of stuffed birds can prove to be a nice opportunity for studying birds and/or consolidating your bird-interest. Plus, it's free!
