Super nice food, good drinks, free water. The guy who works/owns(?) the place, Alberto, was super friendly and helped me with my Swedish
Simple coffee shop that does it right. I wouldn’t compare it vs other specialty coffee shop, because it’s not. It really is a good shop that does coffee right. All 3 of my cups were well extracted. Good beans, good body, not acidic, more nutty and chocolatey. If this is the taste profile you are after then this is the right place.
Great food anf great service
I actually prefer the cafe next door which may seem more touristy but I found the coffee much nicer. They also do not have toilets here and the pastry was quite dry. Great out door seating area.
Esaias is pretty good for a quick coffee stop as it's located in a walkable corner to the central shopping street. From what I have seen so far it usually gets crowded in weekends. I was not too impressed by the Americano I ordered, it was balanced in a good standard. What I really appreciated was the sliced cinnamon bun. Great for a quick bite then continue to stroll around!
Great place to take a coffee and a bite efter walking along the very long Drottninggatan. The espresso is good aswell Cappuccino also. But I find the price 50 sek for a islatte to much! Aswell Brygg is also a bit expensive. Nice staff. The guest toilet is for midgets. :)
Kind owner, but was surprised that this place got Gulddraken for Café as their stuff was just avarage. Then I saw that they changed the owner after getting the prize, which explains it all.
