Look next door for Kinoko Ramen Restaurant or Madam Kong Restaurant rather than this empty one. This place offers bare minimal simple sushi rolls and beef dishes at very inexpensive pricing. Unfortunately, small menu on the wall was not in English, so it's difficult to navigate. However, most rolls consisted of same ingredients: cucumber, avocado, imitation crab meat, sesame seeds, warm raw salmon or tuna. This is not a sushi bar, it's takeout or super casual sit down. It appears to be getting credit for Kinoko Ramen's rave reviews since ramen soup photos are posted here, but no ramen soup is actually available at Kinoko Sushi Bar. Madam Kong, located in between the two restaurants, has 5 stars.

I've only visited once, maybe I got there on a bad day. Started to order from the menu when I was told ' no hot food, only sushi'. Was told the 'other restaurant' (the ramen) had hot meals. But they don't serve sushi. Chose the salmon sushi. Now I've eaten a lot of sushi, but the rice used here was the worst I've ever eaten. Salty, sour and mushy. The salmon was cut too thick. They did have wasabi paste, but it was an obviously cheap kind with little to no heat what so ever. I will not be going back and I can't really recommended anyone else to go there.

Had yakiniku ramen with my sister and her husband. It was good! They gave generous meat, and I love that they put rucola leaves in the ramen. My sister and her husband always go here for ramen fix in Karlstad.

Visited the ramen shop next door actually, on a cold October evening, when a good ramen is what you need :) Very decent food. Better ramen than ever had in Stockholm. Having lived in places with large Japanese communities, and having had the bar set very high, I can say this place does a decent job.
