Smallest airport I have ever seen. Mostly SAS operated flights come daily. Wifi, small restaurant and enough place to sit makes the airport friendly. One of the best airports for vloggers as flights can be seen from very less distance along with beautiful landscape behind the runaway.
Small airport with easy access to public transport and car rental. You can even have a ride with sled dog in winter

Airport of Kiruna is a small airport, which closes after last evening flight and opens again at 4.30AM. It has inside rental cars offices, just after the small luggage collection belt, and the car rental park is just out of the airport, on the right. There are no gates connected to airplanes, so keep in mind a good cover in winter time during disembarking the plane. Check in area is small as well, but with automated check in desks options. After the safety checks, there is a small playing area for kids.
Great cafe/restaurant in the waiting area after the security checkpoint.
