A good coworking space where I can connect with like-minded people is probably the most important element in my freelance life. I've had the privilege of spending a few years at two of the best coworking spaces in Denmark – complete with friendly fellow coworkers, cool surroundings, a perfect location and lots of social events. I didn't think it could get any better. But then I discovered Knackeriet. The founder Ted Valentin has managed to create a cosy, inspiring, fun and feel good space in the middle of Gamla Stan. It's like a cross between a workplace and a friend's big house, where all the funny and smart people hang out. A creative campus for adults where conversation is inspiring (and in English when foreigners are around), ideas can be pitched and you will find kindred spirits who agree Champagne Monday is a great concept. To say that a place feels like home away from home is a bit of a cliché, but in this case it's true. I was supposed to go back to Copenhagen in October, and I'm still here:)

The coziest co-working space for sure! It is meticulously well run, everything is always stocked and all things are working well and there are dogs, sofas, scheduled breakfast, skiing offsites, running club, and very social. Just love the people here.

A social and friendly coworking space where you never feel alone. Nice stylish old apartment that makes you feel like home during the working day!
