Absolutely fantastic stopover with heaps of history and old ruins. Quaint village with tiny houses. Every house has flowers in the window and tiny front doors where you would need to bend to enter. Several cafes and restaurants to choose from. Friendly locals are helpful. Lovely for a walking tour. Our local guide was very informative and good fun. Very old town but very modern attitudes. Locals are very enthusiastic about their medieval history and hold festivals to celebrate this history.

Amazing and magical place
It was beautiful!
Visby is a popular vacation destination for Scandinavians during the summer and receives thousands of tourists every year.
A very quiet and beautiful town on the Baltic coast. The synths and houses are really beautiful and cafes and restaurants are scattered around every corner of the city center. Turned out we were sitting in an Israeli cafe that has been there for quite some years, we really enjoyed it.
