Clean swimming water recently tested by the municipality, today the water was 21C. Family friendly beach with both grass and sand/gravel. Shade from nearby trees as well as sunny spots. Wood piers with ladders in both shallow and deep water end. Beach volleyball pit free to use. Plenty of free parking near the water (100 m). Simple chemical toilets available. Fire places available. Picnic Table and bench near the fireplaces. Our goto spot for cooling off on hot days. Sometimes in high season there is an icecream truck parked here in daytime.
Scenic bath with rounded cliffs created during the last ice age. Unfortunately there is a small village nearby which nutrient load caused Microcystis water bloom. The municipality discourages bathing but the warning is practically ignored.
