An intresting place with traditional buildings well worth a visit.
like
really nice and quiet place with a lot of small wooden houses of the people of Lapland
Such a remote civilization to me. Always interesting
Its important to keep places like this
By the first glance of the place it's just a bunch of small, weird cottages on a field, but when reading about the place it's actually quite interesting. It's a meetingpoint for the native same/lapp people of the area, used mostly for important gatherings such as weddings, funerals and such. It has been in use for several hundred years, and most surprising, they use it to this day. It may not seem too interesting, but knowing a thing or two about the samish culture and way of life, I thought it to be very exciting. Not really sure if I'd want to take part in a wedding party as it goes down, but I'd sure like to witness it.
Must see, but kind of desolate place if there's nothing going on. We didn't wait for the guided tour in the evening.
Very nice place.
Negative. Poor lady. Didnt mean to wake her up, sleeping in her house. Every single of the houses were locked
