Worst service I’ve ever seen in my life.
As usual, trains don’t run on weekends between Lund and Hässleholm. You still have to pay the same price to cram into a bus instead while also having the pleasure of a much longer trip (3h 45 min instead of 2h 30 min).
There are a couple of cafés and small shops. Information is usually easily available. Do allow for some extra time for moving between platforms.
Typical Swedish train station. The station is spread out over three buildings and there are a few eating options available. There are also a few convenience stores available. All of them are Pressbyrån though so there is not so much variation in what is available. It is a transit hub for both trains and busses. There is some indoor seating also mainly in the old railway station building. There is outdoor seating on each platform. There are also shelter like structures on the platform to reduce the impact of winds and weather. There is storage available and bathrooms.
Always crowded in the mornings and afternoons. You have to wait at least ten minutes to get your turn in peak times. Staff is very friendly and informative.
How to spend lots of money to arrive late at your destination? Just buy a ticket with Skånetrafiken!
