Such a beautiful place! We went for a quick hike in the area and bumped into this house. We were surprised to find such an ominous place in the middle of nowhere, with its views and majestic walls. It also has many cafés and restaurants by the north side, very convenient!

What a wonderful gem so close to central Gothenburg only a 30-45min bus ride - number 753. Then a short 15 minute nature walk to the house. A lovely day out for children too and most of the area is wheelchair friendly. The best looking vegetable garden I have ever seen. Please note the only way to look inside the house is via a guided tour. The times are limited so check before visiting. Lots of space to explore so where comfortable walking shoes, dogs on a leash are welcome. Plan to have lunch at the cafe they have delicious organic food, and a great selection of sweet treats. Lots of indoor or outdoor seating.

Gunnebo is well worth a visit. It is a great place where you can take a walk and just enjoy the surroundings. Even on a day like this when the whether is not perfect a trip to Gunnebo made me smile. Can recommend for young and old, groups or solo visitors.

A most interesting garden and beautiful landscape. The house and garden are a very good example of how the Swedish have imported and interpreted foreign fashions from Italy, France and England in the 18th and 19th century. Very nice kitchen gardens where you can learn a lot from the maps of plantings. Nice cafe, restaurant and boutique. I really liked my stay with family and friends.
