Low key, excellent kitchen serving up innovative dishes, using locally sourced ingredients. Offer tasting menu and should book in advance

Absolutely fantastic dining experience! Great and intimate feel. Delicious food - our group had varied menu of meat, pescatarian and vegetarian and everyone was very delightful. Standout dish was the white cabbage with bergamot and scallops, and fascinating twist of pistachios for vegetarian dish. Great finish on a tart - straciatella cheese based dessert. Wine pairing was pleasing - but the pour on the glasses on the conservative side.

Lyran has a great concept, no menu, dishes made from the ingredients bought that week. The food was as always really tasty! Forgot to take a picture of the dessert, so in total 7 dishes. The only minus was that I asked for a glass of white wine - which costed 125kr! - and it was warm. The waiter tried to chill it down but it wasnt cold. Didnt get a discount or compensation... other than that, really great!!!

Really, really amazing food. There's no menu, just a list of ingredients that the chef is going to use. Everything was absolutely delicious, served beautifully but it isn't pretentious. The restaurant is amazingly relaxed considering what's on offer. Service was friendly and professional, excellent all round. One slight downside is the price of the booze, holy moly it's expensive! It's a great choice of unusual beer, cider and wine but make sure you budget appropriately (or bring a hip flask!).
