Upscale dining with good service and great food; but somewhat lackluster drinks. The pre-dinner cocktails look good in the menu, but weren't quite balanced upon arrival. Both starters were amazing, and the waiter quite knowledgeable and comfortable in giving drink pairing recommendations, which turned out well. The main courses were simply exquisite!, and with generous portions. (The menu changes regularly, but if you can catch the gnocchi or the buttered potatoes you will not leave disappointed.) Dessert was equally delicious, even though were both very full at this point. The weak point was the drinks themselves: The white wine and alcohol-free options were in fact better than both the cocktails and the dessert wines - there are only two dessert wines on the menu and neither is really good, neither on its own nor in combination with desserts. Overall though a wonderful culinary experience - will go back, but possibly stick to drinking Coca-Cola...

Environment: becoming more like how a restaurant should be, the bistro feeling is slowly matching up its environment. Mixing some old architects table makes the restaurant a bit more fun than its early days. Hashtag #BeingGreenatMrsBrown. Food and Drinks: few choice of tap beers to choose from but nonetheless good ones. Their wine list boasts a bit more. I was surprised regarding the texture and tastes of what they brought on the table - as I finished my plate to the last inch of food. Not bad especially now they are climbing up again in my list of better restaurants. Service: Finally, there’s less snobbishness and more attentiveness. The personnel are much more relatable, has a bit of charm in their eyes, and has learnt that the customer is ‘always’ right. I’m glad that there’s a development although still a long way - giving them a total of 3 stars from their former 2 stars. LATEST REVIEW: 2018070
