This is not a \museum\ so much as a hobbyist and enthusiast paradise. These are passionate lovers of trains, old engines and history. This is much more like a workshop with many old train folk there to share information and stories. You can actually see (And maybe help) them as they restore old engines. For those that like their hands dirty and don't need all the labels, this is great.

The place was/is a commendable initiative but seems to have lost the traction. The vagn and locos are limited in number but still can be arranged in better positions. Technical information and sort of guided tour is what an average rail enthusiast expects, this can be implemented e.g: The electrical circuit thingie in the SJN ÄF 10 can be explained to a layman who immediately takes a fascination to that device. The striking feature of the museum is it's turntable (vändskiva), it would be great if a demo can be arranged. I could sense the limited funding and personnel strength, this should be worked upon. The museum entry fee can be hiked from the current 20 SEK to say 50 SEK. While a verkstad and lokstallet are expected to be messy, the tools and equipment not required frequently can be cleared off and stored elsewhere. There's a lot of potential in this museum, needs efforts.
very good
Ok
