Great place to hang out and drink. The food is okay, but nothing to really write about; quite average pub food. Ambiance is great and the basement is pretty cool.
Great spot for a pint. Stopped in here with the tour guide on his suggestion. The beers are reasonably priced the bartender was a top guy. I loved the local music touch as well. We liked it so much we came back and checked out downstairs, it was a Friday night and going off. A decent crowd as well. A few different craft beers and the second bartender was great giving us some good local night club suggestions, this really made the night, been set on the right course for the whole night out.
Lively small touristy pub with modern touristy trad sessions. Guinness poured incorrectly, left for 5 seconds before top up and incorrectly topped up with tap down instead of forward. Barman said he doesn’t see anything wrong with that - clueless barman!
Very familiar mood, food is very good and beers too. Not expensive place especially to be in the oldest area of the city. Staff is gentle and always ready to help.
Great place with lively atmosphere and good old music. Hop in if Fish and chips, beers and live acoustic music is your thing.
