Small, efficient, friendly. Visited here as part ot a Santa trip, despite only being a small airport, there was only our plane landing that day.The plane was unloaded in groups approx 40 at a time, this meant it was very efficient in dealing with the arrivals. Staff very friendly and helpful as were local police and it's obvious that the entire region is run for tourism.Within less than an hour everyone was processed. Plus the amount of snow on ground woukd have closed most Uk airports. Had a great visit and local staff dressed in National costume to great us. One of the nicest airpirts to visit. Don't expect loads of shops and bars. There was the equivalent of a tuck shop selling snacks and drinks.Love it.

This is the smallest airport I've ever seen. Very friendly staff in a wonderful location.
SMC Norrbotten, Tack Pajala Airport för lånet av flygplatsen för vår årliga utbildning,, avrostning,, under maj månad. Vi återkommer varje år i maj. Pajala MK är fantastiska på att organisera allt, så att SMC kan köra kurs. Stort Tack önskar SMC Norrbotten.
